Together with our experienced lecturer and certified corrosion engineer Ing. Ondřej Janča, we are preparing a one-day seminar focused on the theoretical and practical mastery of paints and protective coatings. The seminar combines expert explanation with practical demonstrations that participants commonly need in the laboratory, in production or in quality control.
The seminar is suitable for staff in surface treatment, coating technology, maintenance, production and quality control, as well as for students of technical fields and anyone who wants to gain an overview of coating systems.
The number of places is limited to 12 participants, so we recommend not delaying your registration.
You will become familiar with binders, pigments, fillers, solvents and additives and their influence on the properties of the coating.
Alkyd, epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane, silicone, powder and water-thinnable systems, historical as well as modern ecological coatings.
Practical demonstrations of application by brush, roller, spraying, electrostatically and by powder, and inspection of coating quality.
An overview of the individual parts of the standard and laboratory tests — from thickness and adhesion to corrosion tests and UV exposure.

He has devoted more than 10 years to surfaces, material testing and corrosion engineering. He has experience with the practical performance of tests in the laboratory, with running an accredited testing laboratory in accordance with ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025, and with lecturing for JD Academy, the University of Pardubice, CTU and various professional conferences.
