Basic information about the seminar

We have prepared a full-day seminar on Hardness Measurement of Hard and Soft Materials for you, designed for all staff to acquire and further broaden their fundamental knowledge.

The topic covers a theoretical introduction to the measurement of the hardness of hard and soft materials, as well as a practical demonstration of working with hardness testers.

So that we can give every participant our full attention, the seminar capacity is limited to 12 people. Earlier registrations take priority, so do not hesitate to register.

Material surface and its measurability
Automation, multi-point hardness measurement and its practical use for measuring welds, surface layers and treatments, and material homogeneity
Selecting a suitable hardness tester and operating it
The 10 most common measurement errors

Measuring soft materials:

The Shore and IRHD standards and their correct interpretation for practical use
What to avoid when measuring and how to achieve correct results
The principle of hardness testers for soft materials
Problematic samples (profiled samples, O-rings, tubes, textured surfaces, etc.)

Practical demonstration of working with hardness testers

The construction of hardness testers and their properties
How to choose the right measurement method on different samples
How to proceed correctly when carrying out tests in practice
