„The testing chamber, and the staff's approach and willingness beyond requirements — I can only recommend them.“
We test automotive headlights and lighting systems under simulated real-world and excessive conditions that reveal their true durability. We combine vibration testing with controlled temperature and humidity, cyclic thermal tests, condensation and thermal-shock tests to ensure flawless performance throughout the product’s entire service life.
During operation, headlights face not only mechanical vibrations from driving but also temperature and humidity fluctuations. That is why we perform combined vibration tests in our laboratory, where the mechanical load is supplemented by controlled climatic conditions. This simulates the real load during vehicle operation and verifies the mechanical strength, tightness, and function of the optical and electronic parts.
The temperature-cycle resistance test verifies how headlights cope with repeated temperature changes between defined extremes. These cycles reveal possible material fatigue, cracks, deformation, and sealing problems that could appear during long-term use in various climatic conditions.
In the high-temperature resistance test, we expose headlights to prolonged exposure to high temperatures in order to verify their stability, colour fastness, and the functionality of the optical and electronic components. The test simulates, for example, parking a vehicle in direct sunlight in hot climatic regions.
This test simulates the conditions under which moisture condensation occurs inside the headlight. We monitor whether there is any fogging of the optical parts, corrosion processes, or failures of the electrical connections. Verifying resistance to condensation is crucial for maintaining safe visibility and a long service life of the headlight.
In the thermal-shock test, headlights are exposed to abrupt temperature changes within a matter of seconds. This extreme regime simulates sudden transitions, for example from freezing weather to operating temperature after the headlights are switched on, or conversely during sudden cooling. The test reveals critical points in the material structure and design.

In our laboratory we perform vibration tests, including more complex combined profiles, according to standards as well as specific customer requirements. The tested samples can be actively powered during the test, controlled, or their response measured in real time. We have a fully integrated system that links the vibration equipment with a temperature and humidity chamber. We record the course of the test using the K2+ and S!MPATI software, including measurement of acceleration, temperature and humidity on the sample. The customer can be personally present throughout the entire test and monitor its course in real time.
We have extensive experience with headlight testing, whether testing to standards or to the customer’s specific requirements.
Tell us your testing requirements (e.g. via the inquiry form, email or phone).
We contact you and clarify the test specification and timeline.
You receive a structured price quotation from us.
After your order we reserve the date and capacity.
You deliver the samples to us in person or by courier.
We carry out the test on the reserved date.
After the test we send the test report electronically.
We'll gladly go through the test results with you.
This document contains key information about the tested sample and the course of the test. We provide the report in Czech or English according to your needs.
We issue both an accredited and a non-accredited test report according to customer requirements. The type of report is determined by the chosen testing standard.
Not sure how to test your sample? We'll help. We have years of experience and will recommend the most suitable procedure. And if you already know exactly what you want, we'll be your partner — without unnecessary questions.
Our equipment covers most requirements. If something is missing, thanks to our links with manufacturers of testing technology we can often arrange even specialised equipment outside our laboratory.
You can rely on both the equipment and our arrangements. We service and calibrate everything ourselves, so we can react quickly and adapt tests to get you results as soon as possible.
Every job is unique to us. We always try to understand your needs and tailor the service exactly to what you expect.
We'll be happy to advise you.

During real operation, headlights are simultaneously subjected to mechanical shocks, temperature changes and humidity. Combined tests make it possible to verify whether the design withstands these conditions without failures, loss of tightness or optical defects.
The test simulates the formation of moisture inside the headlight and verifies whether fogging of the cover lens, corrosion or damage to the electrical parts occurs. This ensures safe operation even in demanding weather.
The thermal-shock test examines the resistance of the headlight to abrupt temperature changes – for example when a hot bulb is switched on in a freezing environment. This verifies the stability of the materials, the sealing and the overall design.
Yes, in addition to standard tests according to standards we also offer testing according to customer specifications. We can set up custom temperature, humidity or vibration profiles so that they best match the real operating conditions of a specific application.
